The Occupational Health and Safety Unit at the College of Law at the University of Karbala held an educational seminar on first aid. The seminar was presented by Dr. Anwar Muhammad Ali, Director of the Health Promotion Division at the Karbala Health Department.
The lecturer presented a detailed presentation on common work-related injuries and how to deal with them, as well as the basic steps of first aid. He used a number of questionnaires and guidelines aimed at raising participants’ awareness and developing their skills in this field.
The seminar witnessed significant interaction from the attendees, with questions and interventions that enriched the discussion and emphasized the importance of this type of awareness in the academic work environment.
The Dean of the College, Professor Ahmed Shaker, thanked Dr. Anwar Muhammad Ali Abd for the valuable information he provided, appreciating his initiative to provide the college with an educational brochure on first aid.
